This policy explains information handled through this Gloss Labs website and the inquiry options it provides.
1. Information you choose to provide
The quote calculator uses your selected services, vehicle size, condition, and any vehicle description you enter. The contact form asks for your name, phone number or email, vehicle, and message. Please include only information needed to discuss your service.
2. What happens when you contact us
When online submissions are available and you select “Send inquiry,” the website sends your contact details, message, and selected quote to our server and then to HighLevel, our customer-management service. This information is used to respond, discuss an estimate, and arrange services. A HighLevel workflow creates or updates a contact, saves the inquiry in the Gloss Labs conversation inbox, and sends an internal notification to the Gloss Labs team.
The online form does not automatically send promotional texts to the person making the inquiry. Your contact information is provided for responding to your request.
When using “Prepare message for Instagram,” the draft is prepared in your browser. Preparing or copying it does not send it to Gloss Labs. Selecting “Copy message” places it on your device’s clipboard. If you later send it through Instagram, Gloss Labs receives it there and Instagram’s privacy practices also apply.
3. Browser storage
When you choose “Discuss this quote,” selected services, vehicle details, condition, and the estimate are stored in your browser’s session storage so they can appear on the contact page. This is temporary, device-local storage, not a saved appointment. It normally clears when the browser tab or window is closed, though browser session restoration may retain it. You can remove it using your browser’s site-data controls.
Your browser may separately remember form entries through its autofill or session-restoration features. Those settings are controlled by your browser.
4. Technical information and external services
Hosting and access providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, requested pages, request time, and browser information. Private access may require the hosting provider’s sign-in and cookies. Our form server also uses temporary request information to reduce spam and repeat submissions.
The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives the technical request information needed to deliver them. Links to Instagram take you to a separate service. See Google’s Privacy Policy, Instagram’s Privacy Policy, and HighLevel’s Privacy Policy for their practices. Hosting and sign-in are also subject to the hosting provider’s Privacy Policy.
Gloss Labs has not added advertising pixels or visitor analytics to this version of the website. The quote and contact tools do not use information for cross-site advertising.
5. Sharing and retention
Information submitted online is shared with the hosting and customer-management providers used to handle the request and, when internal SMS alerts are enabled, with the messaging providers that deliver those alerts. Details sent in an Instagram message are processed through Instagram. Inquiry information may also need to be retained or disclosed for legitimate recordkeeping, legal obligations, or resolving a dispute.
The website’s form handler does not maintain a separate permanent inquiry database. Successfully forwarded requests may be retained in HighLevel and business communications as needed to manage the inquiry, provide services, and meet recordkeeping obligations. Provider logs, message history, and device clipboards have their own retention settings.
6. Your choices and questions
You can browse without completing an inquiry, choose what to include, clear browser site data, and contact Gloss Labs to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information we hold. We may need to verify your identity and retain records where required or permitted by law. Available privacy rights depend on applicable law.
For privacy questions or requests, use the contact page or message @GlossLabsLLC and say it is a privacy request.
7. Children and policy changes
This site is intended for people arranging vehicle services and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact Gloss Labs so we can address it.
